 Wei Zhu, President and CEO
ZHU Wei graduated from Zhejiang University , China with a Master degree in Materials Science and Engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Solid State Sciences from the Pennsylvania State University . He was an Assistant Professor at North Carolina State University before he joined AT&T Bell Laboratories (later Lucent Technologies Bell Laboratories) in 1993. He co-founded Broadex Technologies in Shanghai , China , in 2003. He holds 42 U.S. patents and has published 2 books and more than 60 scientific papers.
Yong DING, Executive VP and CTO
DING Yong graduated from Zhejiang University , China with a Master degree in Materials Science and Engineering. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Optical Materials from Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was an Assistant Professor at Okayama University of Japan, and was an Assistant Research Professor at the Optical Science Center , University of Arizona . He worked at Intel and JDSU before he co-founded Broadex Technologies in Shanghai , China , in 2003. He has published more than 40 scientific papers on optical glasses, nonlinear optical thin films and optical amplifiers. |
